TC3 Hosts NYSPHSAA Girls Soccer Championships

TC3 is once again partnering with the Cortland Regional Sports Council to host some of the finest high school girls soccer teams in the state. The Cortland region is home to the NYSPHSAA Girls Soccer Championships November 20-21. TC3 is hosting several games on the College's turf field.

Class AA Semifinals:
John Jay vs. West Islip - 11:45 a.m. @ TC3
CBA vs. Penfield - 11:45 a.m. @ Homer HS

Class A Semifinals:
Eastchester vs. Southside - 12:15 p.m. @ SUNY Cortland - Red field
Greece Arcadia vs. Burnt Hills - 12:15 p.m. @ SUNY Cortland - White field

Class B Semifinals:
Center Moriches vs. Briarcliff - 2:30 p.m. @ TC3
Livonia vs. Mechanicville - 2:30 p.m. @ Homer HS

Class C Semifinals:
Stony Brook vs. Plattsburgh Seton Catholic - 9:00 a.m. @ TC3
Sauquoit Valley vs. Frewsburg - 9:00 a.m. @ Homer HS

Class D Semifinals:
Smithtown Christian vs. Chazy - 9:30 a.m.@ SUNY Cortland - Red field
McGraw vs. Arkport - 9:30 a.m. @ SUNY Cortland - White field

*TC3 hosts the AA Final Saturday at 11 a.m.

TC3 Hosts 2009 Region III Soccer Championships

TC3 is hosting the NJCAA Region III Division III Soccer Championships. The women's regional championship games will be Saturday, October 31. The men's semifinals will be Saturday, November 7 with the men's championship game Sunday, November 8.

TC3 Athletics Marches in Dairy Day Parade

The TC3 athletic department took to the streets June 13 for the Dryden Dairy Day parade. Student-athletes, coaches, and staff members took part in the event, throwing small sports balls to the crowds lined along Main Street.

TC3 Hosts Professional Baseball Tryouts

Tryouts for the Texarkana Gunslingers will be held on the TC3 campus Sunday, April 19. Players interested in trying out for the Gunslingers, a professional team that plays in the independent Continental Baseball League, should report to the TC3 baseball field by 10:30 a.m.

TC3 Hosts 2009 Region III Women's Basketball Championship

TC3 is hosting the NJCAA Region III Division III Women's Basketball Championship the weekend of February 27-March 1. Play begins with quarterfinals Friday, continues with semifinals on Saturday, and concludes with the championship game Sunday.

TC3 Hosts 2009 Region III Golf Championship

TC3 is hosting the NJCAA Region III Golf Championship May 11-12 at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club at Cornell University. Information for participating teams is available here. The team entry form is available here.

TC3 Basketball Works with Dryden Youth

The TC3 men's basketball team took time out of its busy training schedule to put on an hour and a half clinic for the 4th and 5th grade travel basketball teams from Dryden.

2008 NYS Girls Soccer Championships

TC3 hosted several New York State girls high school soccer semifinal and championship games November 14 and 15. The schedule of events held at TC3 included four semifinal on November 14 and three championship games on November 15.

The TC3 Media Club is offering DVDs of the action at TC3. Each DVD covers a complete game and costs $15. Contact either club vice president Caroline Gilmore at cmg001@mymail.tc3.edu or faculty advisor Christine Guest at guestc@tc3.edu for more information.
