![]() Admissions Options for Home Schooled StudentsIf the student is beyond compulsory age:To matriculate, they must submit documentation of a valid and in-effect individualized home instruction plan (IHIP) pursuant to section 100.10 of the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education. Home schooled students who are unable to obtain this documentation must receive a high school equivalency diploma (GED) prior to receiving their degree from TC3. In all cases, home schooled students must complete the college's assessment testing. If they cannot produce the 100.10 documentation, they must:
For non-matric, there are no restrictions. If the student is not of compulsory age (14,15):To matriculate, the students must submit a letter of support from their district superintendent. For non-matric, the students may not attend classes during "regular" school day hours. No superintendent letter is required. Compulsory Age is defined as "the academic year in which the student turned 16 has ended (July 1)." |
